Am I the only one who noticed that Tim Geithner, the Secretary of the Treasury, "forgot" to file his taxes for a few years (he's the guy in charge of printing money) and was forgiven?No prison sentence, no punishment, nothing! They just let him be the guy in charge of printing money. Now who is buying our bond debt in the largest Ponzie scheme in the history of the world? We are. We're buying our bonds back from ourselves because the Chinese won't touch American paper anymore. Is Geithner going to prison for THIS? No.
Charlie Rangle merely forgot to file the $1.3 million taxes he owed for the Harlem property he sold or the $3 million he earned in other corporate profits. Ok there were eleven other allegations (not proven - simply allegations).
He's an old man. I'm sure his memory is failing him. They're also on him for going on vacation. I have a photo of Charlie Rangle taking it easy. How can you hate this man? All he wants to do is make as much money from his position as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee before he's put out to pasture. Is this ANY LESS than Speaker Pelosi or Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid want?
President Obama needs to use his power as president to PARDON CHARLIE RANGLE the way presidents pardon felons all the time - the way President Ford pardoned President Nixon. And while he's at it, it might not be a bad idea to pardon Pelosi and Reid because when a Republican controlled House of Representatives is seated after the next election, they will be turning over rocks.
Now to the matter of Congresswoman Maxine Waters. Everybody knows she's crazy. The voters know she's crazy. They voted her in anyway. Since when is it a crime to be crazy? Yes, she's corrupt, but she's corrupt because she's crazy. President Obama needs to pardon her because whatever she does, she's crazy when she does it, and isn't responsible for her actions. Would you hang a crazy person? No. They why would you want Maxine Waters hung by the Congress.
I was at a rally once for Congresswoman Waters and got close enough to her to notice that she has one of those unfortunate female hygiene problems. I was sad for her. Uncontrollable problems like that are not her fault. People might not want to sit next to her in the House of Representatives and they may just be snubbing her because of that. While President Obama can't pardon her for her problem, he can pardon her for her crimes, BECAUSE SHE'S CRAZY.

ReplyDeleteThere are people in the US who are allowed to get away with crime every day because of a plea of "not guilty by reason of diminished capacity". It would seem that Maxine Waters should take advantage of that opportunity. The worn out "they're out to get me because I'm black" defense doesn't wash -- especially after obama (1/2 black) threw Rangle and Waters under the bus.

A Pardon is the only hope for saving Charles Rangle and Maxine Waters. We need to push for this as progressives and fellow liberals. Why is the president waiting? He needs to do this now.
